The oxidant is used as a catalyst for the chemical activity in hair dye. There are different types of oxidants:
Oxidant No. 1 (6% or 20 vol): Opens the color only partially and has a lightening power of 2 to 3 levels.
Oxidant No. 2 (9% or 30 vol): Has a high lightening power on white hair with the ability to lighten by 3 to 5 levels.
Oxidant No. 3 (12% or 40 vol): Used only for bleaching, providing high lightening power with the least amount of color.
New Prestige Color oxidant contains rice protein and conditioning agents that prevent sensitivity, dryness, and brittleness of the hair, enhancing softness and smoothness, and adding beauty to your hair and face.
Usage Instructions: Typically, the ratio of dye to oxidant is (1:1). After mixing the dye and oxidant, follow these steps:
For First-Time Coloring: Apply the prepared mixture starting from the back of the head, leaving a 3 cm distance from the ends of the hair, and move towards the tips. After 10 to 15 minutes, apply more of the mixture to the roots and let it sit for another 20 to 30 minutes.
For Newly Grown Hair: Prepare the mixture as above and first apply it to the roots. After 20 to 30 minutes, dampen the hair with warm water, then use a comb to evenly distribute the color throughout the hair. Allow the color to sit for another 5 to 10 minutes.
Effects of Use: New Prestige Color oxidant, with its conditioning protein, enhances hair strength and softness while preventing dryness, brittleness, and sensitivity, resulting in beautiful hair and an attractive appearance. Additionally, this oxidant contains herbal extracts, such as mint, making it suitable for pregnant women.
